Text and Hubris is the personal project of Geoff Gimse, a freelance writer, researcher, and technology professional who lives and works in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Primarily, the site focuses on research and analysis into literature, media, education, technology, and the areas where they intersect. Beyond that, it also serves as a personal documentary of the author containing personal realizations about his own life, his creative growth, and its evolution.
The first posts began in 2009 but the site officially became active in 2011.
