You don’t need an invite: you can simply sign up on diasp.org, it’s just another pod… And you’re diaspora experience will be just the same as on the official one.

I wouldn’t mind to receive an invitation, but me too I’ve got the email saying that the invitation will arrive soon, so probably is better to patiently wait.

Nice commentary, Diaspora should hire you to do their guerilla marketing, they really don’t publicize what they are doing enough.

I signed up to register for a Disapora account back when news of them first hit the web, but haven’t heard back other than a generic ‘don’t despair’ message a few weeks ago.

If you have the means to invite random strangers and feel so inclined, I would be appreciative of an invite. Facebook gives me hives, and Google+ just isn’t doing it for me. Looking for the next great open social networking tool…. hoping Diaspora might be it.

If there are extra invites floating around, I would love to have one. I submitted my email some time ago and even went so far as to find an old computer and install Ubuntu just so I could host a seed. I have not heard anything more in the past year.
